The Harrington De Kment children have been competing on the Junior Affiliated Showjumping Circuit since 2011 and they have been riding since they were 6 years old. Sophie is 14 and Freddie is 11. Mum, Wendy Harrington De Kment has been riding since the age of 5 and successfully competed at county level showjumping during the 1990’s. Even Freddie and Sophie’s Auntie and Grandma own their own horses so the passion for all things equine is deep rooted!
Saxe Coburg began as a family run business and has quickly becoming a global enterprise so with the family’s equestrian background it was completely natural for them to support British Showjumping and to provide a unique equestrian property service. This website follows the progress of our two equestrian athletes and their ponies as they train hard to rise to the top of their chosen sport!
